AMBERIF Selection 2025 award: CHILLI Jewellery Ireneusz Glaza

A2 Jewellery Ryszard Węsierski, Andrzej Boss, CHILLI Jewellery Ireneusz Glaza and Weroarte Weronika Majewska are the winners of prizes and distinctions in this year's AMBERIF Selection jewellery competition. This is a competition for exhibitors at the AMBERIF Spring Fair, in which a high level of design, quality of workmanship and originality of ideas are rewarded.

AMBERIF Selection is a prestigious design competition held as part of the AMBERIF SPRING International Amber and Jewellery Fair. For years, it has provided an important platform for designers and jewellery makers, enabling them to present their latest, often experimental concepts. Every year, the competition attracts both established artists and young creators who wish to showcase their skills and innovative approaches to the art of amber. The competition mainly takes into account the high level of design, quality of workmanship and originality of ideas.

The works submitted reflect contemporary trends in jewellery, while at the same time often referring to the amber tradition, showing new ways of using this extraordinary raw material. The organisers and jury pay particular attention to combining innovative forms with masterly craftsmanship, which makes AMBERIF Selection a competition of exceptional prestige. The jury, comprising recognised experts, artists and representatives of the jewellery and amber industry, selects works that stand out both aesthetically and technologically.

This year, the selection of works was made by a jury consisting of:

  • Sergiusz Kuchczyński - artist, goldsmith, lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where he runs the Jewellery Studio, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Textiles and Fashion;
  • Maciej Rozenberg - artist, designer, winner of last year's Amberif Selection 2024 competition;
  • Kacper Schiffers - artist and jewellery designer, jeweller, owner of the SCHIFFERS brand.

The jury awarded the following prizes:

3686 2

Prize of the Minister of Development and Technology: A2 Jewellery, designer: Ryszard Węsierski - for the ring „DAYDREAM”.”

3686 3

Gdańsk International Fair Award: Andrew Boss - for the „BANKS” pendant”

and awards:

A2 Jewellery, designer: Ryszard Węsierski - for the „LAGOON" ring"
3686 5
Weroarte Weronika Majewska, designer: Weronika Majewska - for the „Waterfalls” pendant.

Award-winning designs often set the trends for contemporary jewellery, becoming an inspiration for the entire industry. It is here that one can see how classic materials such as amber, silver or gold gain new, unobvious faces, combining with modern technologies and unusual raw materials. Many of the highlighted works are unique works of art, balancing on the border between design and artistic jewellery.

AMBERIF Selection is not only a competition, but also a celebration of creativity, passion and precision workmanship. The competition emphasises the role of jewellery as a form of artistic expression and shows that amber, despite its long history, can still inspire innovative and delightful creations. The awarded works will promote not only their creators, but also the AMBERIF fair and the jewellery industry in global advertising campaigns.
