      Marcin Tymiński nie wymyśla historii dla swoich prac. Sięga po te, które już się wydarzyły – w jego życiu, pamięci, relacjach.       Until September 27th only at the Amber Museum in Gdańsk it is possible to see the exhibition „Musical Inspirations. Andrzej Adamski: 50 Years of Creative Work”. On the occasion of the anniversary, the artist has prepared primarily new works in which amber meets music. The starting point are specific pieces and the stories associated with them.

    • Danka Czapnik. 128 Reasons to be Fascinated

      Until the end of December, the exhibition of Danka Czapnik's jewellery „...and beauty remains” can be seen at the Museum of Goldsmithing Art in Kazimierz Dolny. The works presented come from the private collection of Professor Elżbieta Kłosińska, an archaeologist who has been fascinated by the artist's work for years. Now numbering 128 items, the collection is a unique record of interest in the work of one of the most original figures in Polish artistic jewellery.

    • Jewellery as design. Experiment, technology and amber in the work of Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts students

      What do a train design, a piece of furniture and a pair of earrings have in common? Contrary to appearances, quite a lot. At the Experimental Design Studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, jewellery is treated like any other utility item: its form, material, production technology and relationship with the user must all be considered. The results of this work can be seen at the „We Design Jewellery” exhibition in the Gallery of the International Amber Association in Gdańsk.

    • Gdynia cut, Gdańsk collection. History written in amber

      Everyday their works are part of one of the most important collections of Polish amber art. Now they are returning to the city with which the lives and work of their creators were connected. The exhibition „Gdynia cut, Gdańsk collection", prepared on the occasion of the centenary of Gdynia, was created from works selected from the collections of the Amber Museum.

      Małgosia Kalińska has joined the circle of artists represented by the prestigious Friends of Carlotta gallery in Zurich.
