This is pure coincidence. In the course of discussions, we selected the works that, in our opinion, stood out most for their quality of design and workmanship. To our surprise, we awarded both prizes to the same company," concluded Marcin Wesołowski, a member of this year's jury and winner of the GRAND PRIX of the Minister of Development in the Amberif Selection 2020 competition.
A2 Jewellery has therefore received:
- GRAND PRIX of the Minister of Development, Labour and Technology for the NEW BEGINNING amber pendant
- Award of the President of the International Gdansk Trade Fair SA for SEANIQUE amber rings.
The prizes were awarded by a jury composed of: Stanisław Krzysztof Jacobson - jewellery expert, competition curator; Dariusz Latoszek - representative of the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology; Dorota Kos - artist, jewellery designer; Marcin Wesołowski - owner and chief designer at NAC Amber.
Amberif Selection (until 2019 under the name Mercurius Gedanensis ) is a competition dedicated to the exhibitors of the Amberif International Fair of Amber and Jewellery, in which the best works showcasing the uniqueness of amber, traditional craftsmanship, perfect workmanship and the author's art of goldsmithing are awarded. The awarded works will promote not only their creators, but also the Amberif fair and the jewellery industry in global advertising campaigns.
