We will attempt to answer the questions: what and how can we do to make goldsmithing art more present? How to wisely implement a strategy for promoting projects and personal brand? Where, with whom and why is it worth cooperating? – explained Ilona Rosiak-Łukaszewicz, Director of the YES Gallery.

Answers to these questions will be helped to find by this year's speakers:

• Beata Bochińska – President of the Bochiński Foundation, art historian, design management specialist
• Anna Sobecka – art historian, academic teacher, curator
• Agnieszka Gaczkowska – architect with a weakness for crafts, founder of Oplotki.pl
• Agata Jankowiak – founder and editor-in-chief of the Blingsis.com website
• Magdalena Maślerz – artist, master goldsmith, founder of the Cracow Goldsmithing School
• Maria Magdalena Kwiatkiewicz – collector, traveller, founder of the YES Gallery
• Mariusz Pajączkowski – artist, initiator and organiser of projects, exhibitions and competitions.

When the thought first arose within the YES Gallery team to not only be a venue friendly to the art of jewellery-making, but also to establish the foundations for a professional discussion on the subject, no one suspected that this symbolic „banging of a fist on the table” would resonate so widely among members of the jewellery community and the business environment. In 2022, the goal was singular – to organise an event and gauge what its reception would be, how the community would react to it, and, above all, how it would assess the validity of such meetings, explained Ilona Rosiak-Łukaszewicz in the 1/2024 issue of „Polski Jubiler” magazine.

Great interest in the first edition of the Goldsmithing Art Forum, which took place in October 2022, resulted in the decision to continue the project. This decision was also influenced by the strongly emphasised need for initiatives of this kind, serving primarily the exchange of views and the integration of the goldsmithing community, as well as inviting representatives of academic circles, the cultural sector, and the art market to join the discussion. The main focus of the 2nd edition of the event was placed on the practical dimension of goldsmithing art and its contexts – the speakers included jewellery creators and their active promoters, among others. The theme of this year's edition is a consequence of the discussion panel closing last year's meeting, during which the need to promote goldsmithing art at various levels of its functioning resonated strongly, primarily in the media, academic circles, and cultural institutions.
