In the 10th, jubilee edition of the competition, participants tackled the themes: „Seven Colours of the Rainbow” (juniors) and „Two Worlds” (seniors). For the first time this year, seniors could submit entries in two categories: made exclusively by hand and those using computer-aided design. The competition entries – jewellery and decorative items with a jewellery function, made using various goldsmithing techniques and employing precious and decorative stones and metals – were assessed by a competition jury comprising: Karol Kowalski – chairperson, OKZ-J ZRP; Dorota Ząbkowska – Ministry of Culture and National Heritage; Wanda Gontarska – director of the Złoto Srebro Czas fair; Marek Winiarek – Guild of Goldsmiths, Watchmakers, Opticians, Engravers and Bronze Workers of the capital city of Warsaw, Waldemar Wroński – master goldsmith (Gdynia), Jerzy Adamek – master goldsmith, Jerzy Macur – master goldsmith, and Jolanta Kosakowska – ZRP.

Traditionally, the ceremonial announcement of the results and the awarding of prizes in the Gold and Silver in Craftsmanship competition took place during the Gold Silver Time trade fair in Warsaw.
