Aleksander Gliwinski is one of the most respected designers and manufacturers of jewellery with amber. He takes an original approach to its form and presentation, which emphasises the individual and unique character of his jewellery. For more than 30 years, he has contributed to the dissemination of the beauty of amber, which is recognised as Poland's national heritage. Going beyond the scheme and canons of thinking about amber, playing with asymmetry, fashion experiments, which for many become a style - this is the most universal and characteristic dimension of jewellery, as well as Aleksander Gliwiński's way of working. This pretends to put him in the Hall of Fame, or Pantheon of Polish Fashion - the most outstanding and creative personalities are there. Aleksander Gliwinski's jewellery is considered by many to be a showcase for the presentation of amber outside our country," concluded Dominik Górny, vice-president of the Polish Fashion Academy and its spokesman.

The Pantheon of Polish Fashion currently „houses” 18 designers who have made Polish fashion famous over the past decades. Gosia Baczyńska, Dorota Goldpoint, Barbara Hoff or Paweł Węgrzyn, among others, have been recognised with such distinctions. „The antechamber” of the pantheon is the Ranking of Polish Fashion Designers and Brands, in which Aleksander Gliwinski's name - also as the first jewellery designer - has featured for several years. He guaranteed his place in it by winning the Silver Loop awards and twice Golden Loop, Golden Super Loop, certificate and the TOP MODA SIGN OF GOOD QUALITY AND FASHIONABLE DESIGN,the title of Fashion Designer and Jagoda Komorowska Statuette. On the catwalks of fashion shows organised by the Polish Fashion Academy in Poznań, his jewellery appeared in the company of outfits designed by Magdalena Arłukiewicz, who, together with Aleksander Gliwiński, made it to the Pantheon of Polish Fashion. They have been working together since 2011, creating joint collections and preparing fashion shows that are paratheatrical performances with elements of art, fashion, fun, dance and music.

'Fashion and jewellery are the same entities, it's just that you have to combine them well so that one doesn't overwhelm the other or compete with the other. Our collaboration is possible because we understand each other and each other's creative needs and do not hijack a shared space," explained the designer.

For this year's 23rd Polish Fashion Gala on 24 November 2024 at Concordia Design in Poznań, the couple prepared the show „Four seasons of love”, which was a retrospective presentation of selected silhouettes from shows of the last 20 years. Some of them have never been presented at fashion shows in Poland, while others have received new, modernised interpretations. The show was a kind of crowning of a certain stage of their artistic activity, and certainly of their „Poznań” adventure - an invitation to the Pantheon of Polish Fashion is the highest award granted by the Polish Fashion Academy.
