Both designers have been appearing on the catwalks of the Polish Fashion Gala - an annual fashion celebration marking a new way of looking at the style of dress and life, which refers to the best traditions - for several years, impressively climbing the rungs of the „fashion career”. Aleksander Gliwinski boasts the following awards from the Polish Fashion Academy: two Golden Loops, a Silver Loop and the title of Fashion Designer. He received the Golden Super Loop for his experimental approach to amber forms in the collection he designed for Magdalena Arlukiewicz's outfits. A timeless collection, based on geometric, spatial forms, which - characteristic of him - goes beyond the usual patterns.

Ireneusz Glaza, owner and chief designer at CHILLI Jewellery, has so far been awarded by the Polish Fashion Chapter for good quality and fashionable design with awards such as the Golden Loop and the „Top Fashion” 2022 Statuette. This year's 20th Polish Fashion Gala in Poznań was an opportunity for Ireneusz Glaza to present models from his latest collection „Sparkle”, in which he focuses on the forms and colours of amber emphasising its natural origin, in individual silver settings.

This jewellery is a kind of bridge between nature and modernity. It is an emanation of modern man's need, especially of the younger generation, for close contact with nature and an embodiment of the slow life philosophy. It is a contemporary form of an amber amulet, whose protective power was believed centuries ago,” explained Ireneusz Glaza.

Jewellery from the latest „Sparkle” collection, as well as classic models from the „Amber Beauty” collection, were presented at a joint show prepared with fashion designer Barbara Piekut, perfectly matching the sensuality of her dresses decorated with lace, silks, feathers and hand-crafted applications.

Although the collections of the two designers are very different, their thinking about amber is very similar - for them, it is a unique stone that deserves a unique setting: inspired by modern trends and perfectly in tune with current fashion. They also think similarly about the role of jewellery, which is an indispensable element of a styling, emphasising its attractiveness. They have proved many times that they have a keen sense of the fashion pulse of jewellery.
