I knew Jagoda Komorowska personally and respected her greatly for her professionalism and great sense of style. Jagoda felt the pulse of the fashion industry perfectly, but her instincts did not fail her in the jewellery industry either - at the Amberif fair, which she visited several times, she was quick to pick out real talents from the crowd of exhibitors. I was all the more delighted to receive this award - I hope that she herself would also award it to me... - said Aleksander Gliwinski, a designer known for his large forms of silver jewellery with Baltic amber distinguished by its modern design.
The Jagoda Komorowska statuette was awarded to the designer for a collection made in collaboration with fashion designer Magdalena Arlukiewicz. “We were delighted with the jewellery created exclusively from natural materials: amber, silver, wood (ebony) and leather. In turn, the foundation of Magdalena Arłukiewicz's collection was form, texture and detail; inspired by the past, anthropology and portrait painting in, among other places, modern Gdansk," concluded the jury.

Since 2011, Aleksander Gliwiński and Magdalena Arłukiewicz have been creating joint collections and preparing fashion shows that are paratheatrical performances with elements of art, fashion, fun, dance and music. They have presented their collections more than 30 times, e.g. at the AMBER LOOK Trends & Styles Fashion and Jewellery Gala, in the evening scenery of Mariacka Street at the culmination of the annual Mariacka Street Festival, at the Polish Fashion Gala in Poznań, during Warsaw Fashion Street, at Łódź Fashion Week and at the Satisfashion Roma this summer. By their own admission, by doing shows together, they try to understand each other and reckon with the visions they have in their heads.
Invariably, since the beginning of our cooperation, we have tried to prove that at a fashion show it is not only the clothes that are important, but also the accessories, such as jewellery, belts or footwear - all these elements create a successful show," concluded Aleksander Gliwinski.
