“50 x Jewellery” features 50 artists and several hundred objects... Artists and designers have created pieces according to their own sense of aesthetics and perspective on goldsmithing and jewellery art, which, in addition to all the values of original design, individual form and content, is intended to be worn. The practical and useful value dominates. There is also a commercial value – the exhibited works can be purchased.

At the exhibition, you will find works by Ewa Rudowska (winner of one of the most prestigious European goldsmithing awards – Gold Virtuosi in 2002), Jacek Byczewski (who, with the legendary UFO group in 1975, introduced a geometric style in Polish jewellery, a multiple winner of goldsmithing competitions), Zofia and Witold Kozubski (who are the only ones to have won the International Goldsmithing Art Competition in Legnica twice), Kacper Schiffers (this year's winner of three awards in Legnica), and Jarosław Westermark (a winner of so many competitions it would be difficult to list them even in a long text).

Marcin Tymiński (President of the Association of Goldsmiths' Form Creators) and Mariusz Gliwiński (long-time President of the International Amber Association) will also exhibit their works. We will also find works by Marcin Gronkowski, Paweł Kaczyński, Jan Suchodolski, Alicja and Jan Jakub Wyganowski, which are well known from the most prestigious European galleries... And many others – representatives of three generations of Polish goldsmith artists. Because alongside well-known names (Kamilla Rohn, Tomasz Mayzel, Marcin Strzałkowski), we will also find jewellery by creators who are just beginning their journey as goldsmith artists: Marta Rudnicka, Weronika Pacek, Maja Nałęcz-Nieniewska and others, surprising with their style, technique and approach to jewellery. These works simply must be seen!

The exhibition opening coincides with the first anniversary of GALERIA OTWARTEJ on Sandomierz market square. It is also the 10th meeting with goldsmithing art and original jewellery created in the workshops of Polish artists and designers, organised by this gallery.
