The project „Entwined” is a unique opportunity for creative collaboration between young Polish jewellery designers and designers participating in the Loupe residency programme at the Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group in Hong Kong. The titular idea of intercultural exchange, where East meets West, refers to the history of the Silk Road. The designers were tasked with creating innovative jewellery from amber, which travelled from the Baltic Sea along trade routes to ancient China for thousands of years, and jade – a stone deeply embedded in Chinese tradition; thus creating a marriage of cultures.
