In times of permanent uncertainty, there is a tangible shift towards universal, timeless, and enduring values; this is also evident in design. When designing contemporary jewellery, we wanted to pay homage to the classics of the constructivist avant-garde and seek new references to the language of geometric abstraction, which characterises both the pioneers of modernism and their contemporary followers. Concepts such as functionalism, resistance to ephemeral trends, and architectural discipline have returned to design textbooks.
