Its premiere took place at this year's Amberif fair in Gdansk, where it was presented in a silver setting and decorated with zircons. However, the uniqueness of this design and its classic beauty is even more delightful in the custom-made 14- or 18-carat yellow gold version. Both silver and gold are very well matched with amber colours: cognac, cherry and natural, milky yellow, creating a contrast and giving the ornament additional expression. The pendant has been made with special care - each of the zircons is cupped by hand, and the free spaces between them are additionally satin-finished. The ornamental lace is movable so that the pendant can adjust perfectly to the body.
The idea to design watch-inspired jewellery came from admiration for the craftsmanship of the old watchmakers. „In general, I am captivated by the beauty of ancient functional forms and the perfection of their craftsmanship. That timelessness that makes them appealing 100 years ago, appealing today and certainly will appeal in another 100 years too. This is the kind of jewellery we are trying to make,” - he says Marcin Wesołowski, owner of NAC Amber.
