The evening began with a presentation of Daria Burkowska's (Dorbur) jewellery collection - inspired by nature and emphasising the subtle power of feminine style - which harmoniously interacted with the clothes designed by Monika Szymikowska. This was followed by a joint show by 11 jewellery designers, including Katarzyna Czajkowska (From Nature With Love), Tadeusz Dobkowski (Amber Gallery), Dominika Frączkiewicz (Studio DF), Katarzyna Krajewska (ENZO), Danuta Kruczkowska, Wiesława Marcinkowska (GEM Pracownia Bursztynu), Agata Marglewska (AMETYST STUDIO), Tomasz Pisanko (ArtSzok), Aleksandra Skrobot (SKROBOT DESIGN), Marcin Szadziul (IMAGE SILVER) and Tomasz Kargul (KARGUL.TK). Each of them presented three sets of jewellery on uniforms, which allowed the focus to be on unique designs.
The next part of the evening featured shows by designer duos: Dorota Cenecka with Natasha Pavluchenko, Joanna Kotowicz-Buczyńska with Michał Starost, and Jola Słoma and Mirek Trymbulak. Their collections combined modern jewellery with amber with fashion, creating spectacular styles.
Also appearing on the catwalk were well-known figures of Polish modelling, such as Bogna Sworowska and Lidia Popiel, as well as Robert Kupisz - which further emphasised the importance of the event.
Amber in Gdańsk is always the main protagonist, the showpiece of the city and the entire national treasure. Our artists pour all their personality into this amber, they bring out its magic, but they also give all their heart and soul, which can be seen in every single item," emphasised Lidia Popiel in her statement for the What a Week TVN programme.
AMBERIF Vibes once again proved that amber can inspire modern, avant-garde designs, combining tradition with innovative design.
