The 17th edition of the „Fashion and Art” gala was graced by a showcase of the „Sirocco” collection by Natashy Pavluchenko and Mariusz Gliwiński.
The XVII edition of the „Fashion and Art” gala, the largest and most prestigious fashion event in this part of Poland, took place at the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław two weeks ago. The entire event was held in the extraordinary setting of a Gothic monastery. As every year, only a few shows by selected designers, including Michał Starost and Beata Jarmołowska, as well as the companies Deni Cler, Patricia Peppe, Furla and Galeria Centrum, were presented during the gala evening. The event was exclusive, with only a select group of invited guests from the fashion, art, and show business industries attending. During the gala, awards were presented in various categories related to fashion, art, and television – previous recipients have included Aneta Kręglicka, Ewa Minge, Maciej Zień, and Małgorzata Niemen.
The evening also featured an amber accent – the „Sirocco” collection by Natashy Pavluchenko and Mariusz Gliwiński was presented. The collection debuted a few months ago at a show in Warsaw at the Hyatt Regency Hotel; it was also shown in Madrid and Gdańsk. However, the Wrocław show proved that the collection is constantly evolving and undergoing continuous changes. This time, the dresses were significantly more colourful and enhanced with lace, and their geometric character was softened by strong draping. Both the dresses and the jewellery featured greys, cool yellows, and saturated blues, which are fashionable this season. The jewellery proposed by Mariusz Gliwiński became lighter, though no less impressive. The delicate construction of the necklaces made them a perfect complement to the airy silk and openwork applications.
