The „Unknown Worlds” exhibition at the YES Gallery in Poznań, where the designer will showcase works prepared for last year's JOYA Barcelona Art Jewellery & Objects and Artistar Jewels Milano Jewelry Week exhibitions, as well as entirely new pieces, will undoubtedly be a great surprise, even for connoisseurs of the subject. The artist defies all norms and classifications. She is closest to the virtually unknown contemporary jewellery movement in Poland, which – as she herself defines it – means jewellery born from the world of imagination. Her world is exceptionally colourful, although it doesn't lack monochrome colour schemes – but even these she can liven up with a variety of tones. It captivates with elaborate forms, sometimes difficult for a perception fed on „shop-bought” jewellery to comprehend, the spatiality of multi-element compositions and their dynamics, and the unconventional materials from which they are created. She believes that jewellery can be made from anything – and even „from nothing.” And that jewellery can be as diverse as people are diverse.

Each exhibition is an opportunity for her to confront viewers with the distinctiveness of her jewellery – she is particularly keen on influencing a change in their perceptions, opening them up to new possibilities of artistic expression, and teaching them to treat jewellery not just as an aesthetically pleasing utilitarian object. With the viewer in mind, she leaves her works open-ended – consciously not giving them names, not combining them into thematically specific collections, in order to create a completely unconstrained space for individual interpretations and to make her „unknown worlds” closer to the viewer, more familiar. It will be the same at Gallery YES, where the artist will showcase approximately 30 pieces of jewellery – each of which is a separate world and a story in itself, yet all together they form a coherent whole – as well as several graphics created especially for this exhibition.
