For over thirty years, the designer has been creating his own collections, selecting materials and crafting each piece by hand, giving it a unique character. He draws inspiration primarily from ancient art and nature, blending the past with the present. His style is recognizable not only in Poland but also abroad. Maciej Rozenberg's collection features impressive earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. He makes them all by hand, using old techniques and creating his own, which allow him to achieve the desired visual effect. He uses only precious metals – gold and silver – which he mainly combines with Baltic amber and diamonds.

Maciej Rozenberg's labour-intensive, stylistically refined, and expertly crafted goldsmithing objects are met with acclaim from designers and jewellers, which is a testament to the high calibre of his work. They are also appreciated by the most discerning women, which in turn proves that the artist perfectly understands their needs. Subtlety, noble simplicity, elegance, a perfect combination of materials, and a heart put into every detail... this is precisely the exquisite jewellery chosen by modern women who are sensitive to the world and people around them.

In the temporary exhibition at the Amber Museum, jewellery created specifically for the exhibition, which has not been displayed anywhere before, will be presented, as well as some older, but very characteristic works of the artist. These will include the following collections:

GALATEA – Earrings inspired by Greek mythology and art. Amber gems in the shape of female heads were carved under a microscope using special needles. The portraits are complemented by luminous, linear rays, giving a vertical, columnar form to the sophisticated jewellery.

Ancient Hesperia – The Greeks called Hesperia the „western land“, primarily the Apennine Peninsula. The collection is inspired by bracelets found in ancient tombs featuring cascading designs. The bracelets and earrings constructed from hammered, gold-plated links can be compared to the dynamic forms of nature, such as autumn leaves trembling in the wind. The author intended for the shimmering surfaces of amber tiles to evoke the gleam of ancient mosaics.

L'Orfeo The primary source of inspiration was archaic forms of Greek jewellery created using laborious artisanal techniques of forging and repoussé. The author’s intention is to disperse tiny diamonds across the surface of the bracelet so they subtly sparkle. By setting tiny scattered diamonds on the surface of the forged bracelets, the author aims to achieve a subtle sparkling effect that complements the originality and rawness of the piece. Cracked, torn forms of the metal structure conceal a centrally set jewel of nature – golden amber.

CRATER – with this name, the author evokes a constellation of stars known since antiquity. The ring series combines modern, minimalist design with the organic structure of amber, which impresses with its diversity. The rings look particularly striking in the version made of silver coated with a layer of dark silver, graphite, noble rhodium.

ZEN ARCHAIOS – Jewellery inspired by the Japanese understanding of nature and humanity as a whole. The collection is characterised by restraint in selecting the simplest possible means of expression, as well as imperfections and decay, which are embodied in two untranslatable concepts: wabi and sabi.

ECHOS – this ring series focuses on the aesthetic category of rhythm. The sharp edges of the rhodium-plated graphite-hued silver planes animate the cobalt calcite druzy. The ring's shape challenges the anatomy of the finger, aligning with the broadly understood Art Deco tradition.

Maciej Rozenberg – born in 1973 in Gdańsk, he is a jeweller, photographer and art historian by education. In his studio, he creates unique jewellery collections, which are entirely his own work, from design to execution. He finds inspiration in ancient art, particularly antiquity. He models himself on old goldsmithing techniques, which, as he claims, still surprise with their perfection. In many of his realised projects, one can observe his knowledge of and the influence of art icons gathered in the most important world museum collections. The artist's second inspiration is nature, the earth's natural riches, and the connection between man and the natural world.
