The aim of the competition is to search for the best designed and masterfully crafted jewellery using Baltic amber, as well as to consistently promote above-standard functional, technological and stylistic solutions. The work awarded the Grand Prix becomes the global showpiece of the next AMBERIF SPRING - it appears in all print and digital advertisements, among others.
The jury composed of: Anna Sado (editor of the Amber Portal amber.com.pl), Dariusz Latoszek (representative of the Ministry of Development and Technology), Stanislaw Krzysztof Jacobson (gemmologist, competition commissioner), Adam Pstrągowski (president of S&A Jewellery Design, winner of the Grand Prix Amberif Selection 2022) and Jacek Ostrowski (jewellery designer) evaluated 45 original works submitted by 17 participants, awarding the following prizes and distinctions:
GRAND PRIX AMBERIF SPRING - STATUETTE of the Minister of Development and Technology - for Dariusz Zarański / Zarański Design for the „Earth” necklace” for its modern form and the balanced and subtle proportions of its decoration, which refers to the structure and colours of Baltic amber
Award of the President of the Gdańsk International Fair Co. - STATUETTE of the President of the Gdańsk International Fair Co. for Arkadiusz Wolski for the „Sphere” necklace” for its innovative and bold jewellery form and spectacular emphasis on its geometry and spatiality
Distinction for the company Marcin Wesołowski NAC Amber for the „SHINE LIKE A STAR” necklace” for perfect workmanship in accordance with the highest jewellery standards and exceptional precision in the execution of even the smallest details
Distinction for the duo Tomasz Kargul & Monika Blaszkowska for a jewellery set: brooch, earrings and ring for the courage to combine silver, amber and recycled materials in a modern, eye-catching form
