„Mr Aleksander, a retired professor from the Medical University of Łódź, has this time borrowed amber inclusions from us to photograph. The result is so interesting that we decided to share these photos with a wider audience,” says Michał Kazubski from the Museum of the Earth of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
We will see dozens of large-format photographs, including spiders and true flies, which can be viewed as if under high microscopic magnification. Their creator is, after all, a great lover of nature: „More important to me than the photography itself is blending into nature and experiencing it very personally. The camera is, however, an important tool that enables me to have these experiences; it motivates me greatly, and thanks to it, while searching for subjects, I become a more inquisitive observer, seeing more (because I am often on my knees) and differently (through my frames). This can be described as a photographic way of looking at nature. Actually, I photograph for myself, although I also don't shy away from showing my work at exhibitions or on the internet”.
