Stories are important in our lives because they define us, conjure images in our minds, and awaken emotions, likes, and dislikes. In a world made up of numbers, facts, and obligations, we long for stories and the emotions they evoke. It's therefore no surprise that trends in the coming seasons are based on emotions. What does this mean in practice?
Frenetic fun

At the heart of this trend are spontaneity, creativity, pleasure, joy, and action. It's about expressing spontaneous impulses through garish colours, loud music, practically absurd staging, and unexpected actions. It involves doing what brings pleasure, without overthinking the potential consequences, which rules will be broken, or whether too much attention will be drawn. On the contrary: the more creative, unique, and visible one is, the better! This trend is seen as a manifestation of rebellion against a standardised world and, for obvious reasons, primarily concerns young people, although – be warned – in a somewhat softened form, it can certainly be found among older generations as well.
Vibrant, bright colours in clothing and accessories are the hallmark of this trend. However, unlike last year, they will not be softened by neutral shades – now they are worn in their „pure” form or in combinations with similar colours – as colour blocking, eye-catching patterns, or striking contrasts. This principle applies equally to clothing and accessories.
Of course, jewellery also presents itself in a full palette of colours, thus ensuring a positively colourful summer mood.tip: colourful jewellery pairs very well with white, a colour that is also fashionable this season. White decorations will also be highly sought after this season.
Dark Romance

This is a very important macrotrend. Because here too, stories are at the centre – stories of love, passion, longing, poetry, romance and art. Writers like Oscar Wilde fit perfectly into this trend, and the boom in „Twilight“ also confirms it. Dark Romance is a return to dandyism, bohemianism and the cultural crisis of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, with a certain amount of mystery and intrigue. This trend is primarily a good theme for winter and will be evident from autumn onwards.
Although its peak is predicted for the autumn-winter season, black jewellery is already enjoying great interest: in the spring-summer version, it is a little more delicate, fanciful, decorative, with refined details and often with mysterious symbols.
Techno Sensual

Technical materials and forms are at the forefront of this trend – however, always combined with ease of use. This principle also applies to jewellery, which should be distinguished by dynamic lines, interesting visual and tactile effects, and technical sophistication.
NATURE DNA (natural DNA)

Nature, its beauty, diversity, resources, power, but also exploitation, is certainly the most all-encompassing and influential trend. It pertains to virtually every area of life and shows us that it's five to midnight, or as some consider it: five past midnight. Therefore, all the more we wish for the opportunity to experience nature as closely and directly as possible. With healthy food, eco-friendly clothing, contact with nature, discovering „wild“ places, a richness of colours and diversity of species. All of this is reflected in products, including those that, at first glance, seem to have nothing to do with it. Skis, helmets, computers, mice – all are decorated with floral motifs. It is human desire to experience the essence of nature, to capture its DNA.
On the one hand, its prototype is nature in all its aspects, on the other hand, this trend is a source of various floral patterns and applications. It also manifests itself in the colour blue, symbolising the sky and the ocean.
PHANTASIC FAIRYTALES

Fantastic, dreamlike, exotic – fantasy in styling knows no bounds. Flowers, butterflies, elves, and peacock feathers are as important motifs and sources of inspiration as ruffles, lace, bubble skirts, and natural colours and patterns from the world of children, or direct references to fairy tales. What jewellery works best here? Colourful and with fairytale motifs – not only those for children.
UNIVERSAL INSPIRATIONS

Our world is wonderful, which on the one hand makes us great and unique, and on the other hand, we remain small and weak in the face of its immensity. There is room here for science and for spiritualism. The search for the meaning of life, its origin and fulfilment occupies many, including those who, despite a good, seemingly problem-free life, feel that something is missing. This is precisely the reason for the flourishing of all kinds of wellness, alternative medicine and other forms of spiritual development.
There are many variations on the fashion implementation of this theme. On one hand, there are „cosmic” materials, such as silver with a metallic sheen or a star-like shimmer, and on the other hand, there is a topic as broad as loungewear, which is, of course, not particularly represented on international catwalks. Jewellery, however, requires knowledge of the „matter”: while a layman will see only a ring in a ring, an initiate will perceive the whole philosophy and history behind a given adornment. Surprisingly many jewellery designs are based on inspirations from the universe: comets and planets, and creators are also interested in symbols of the sun, moon or stars. This trend also includes geometric and mathematical symbols, such as, among others, the flower of life or the Fibonacci sequence, which can also be found in flowers.
