Philip Sajet participated in the International Amber Biennale in Frombork in July 2007 and won the Grand Prix for the work Tube Ring, which was created in 2004. The jury praised „the synthetic, symbolic reference to the observation of the sky through the use of the archetypal form of a tube, the innovative treatment of amber, and the perfect execution”.

Together with Wilhelm Tasso Mattare, he ran amber workshops in the town of Arta on Majorca. Recently, after a break from working with amber, he decided to take it up again.
