Just like my predecessors – Amber Ambassadors Lidia Popiel and Monika Richardson – I also have the exciting task of writing a book summarising the journey along the Amber Trail. The project is currently in its development phase – details regarding the timing, location, or plot are not yet known. What is known? That it is to be a journey through selected exotic destinations in North Africa. Although we don't yet know exactly what these places will be, we do know that – according to the slogan All roads lead to Rome, ...my journey will also end there. This amber road journey of mine is to be combined with a musical project, and its outcome will be not only an amber book but also an amber record – each place I visit will have its musical calling card. This project is on a much broader scale than previous ones – one of the ideas is to report on the journey, among other things, via social media services which allow us to quickly and efficiently reach a wide audience with information.
When will that be? I don't know. The plans aren't finalised yet, and I'm still on the road with Transoriental Orchestra.
