This was my second visit to the Amberif trade fair. And I have to admit, I remain consistently impressed by the wide range and creativity of the exhibitors at this fair. From raw amber beads to works of amber art, from attractive amber and silver jewellery to faceted amber set in gold – there's something for everyone, regardless of taste or budget.
Among the exhibitors, I found several who stood out for their innovative ways of treating amber. I was particularly impressed by a stand with exceptionally decorative butterflies and other objects made from a single piece of amber – this effect was achieved not only through innovative carving techniques but also by treating the raw material with high temperatures, resulting in various spectacular shades.
Just like last year, this edition of the Amberif trade fair was very well organised, as were the numerous meetings and events during and outside the fair – all of this helped the foreign journalists participating in the mission to better understand the phenomenon of this unique, living stone. The new and modern Amber Expo is the perfect venue for the Amberif trade fair. Congratulations to the entire team!
