The Amberif Selection competition - in 1995-2020 held under the name Mercurius Gedanensis - is one of the most prestigious events accompanying the AMBERIF International Fair of Amber and Jewellery in Gdańsk. It has been promoting unique Baltic amber, modern design and master jewellery craftsmanship for years. A jury of eminent experts awards works that combine craftsmanship, innovation and artistic vision - awarding the Grand Prix in the Design category and the Gold Medal for Master Jewellery Craftsmanship.
The aim of the competition is to distinguish jewellery designs that refer to contemporary fashion trends, are made using impeccable jewellery techniques and represent an interesting export offer for the Polish jewellery and amber industry.
