Therefore, this year's collections were modern, dynamic, avant-garde, and surprising \u2013 from street fashion, through installations, to evening wear \u2013 summarised Micha\u0142 Starost, Artistic Director of GDA\u0143SK AMBER LOOK.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, seven duos of talented designers presented the results of their artistic collaboration: Danka Czapnik &amp; Katarzyna Konieczka (MAD DOLL); Marcin Bogus\u0142aw &amp; Marcel Iwa\u0144ski (NEW WAVE); S\u0142awa Tch\u00f3rzewska &amp; Patryk Wojciechowski (LO(S\/V)ERS); Dorota Cenecka &amp; Dominika Czarnecka (IDYLLA); Ireneusz Glaza &amp; Pawe\u0142 W\u0119grzyn (AMBER &amp; DIAMONDS); Danka Kruczkowska &amp; Aneta Larysa Knap (GOLD); A2 Anna W\u0119sierska &amp; Olga Ziemann (SILK &amp; AMBER EUPHORIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201eA gala is a unique opportunity for a designer \u2013 for both fashion and jewellery \u2013 to go wild artistically: the only limit is one's own imagination. That's why the runway features exceptional designs, radiating freshness, unexpected and surprising, which encourage us to draw inspiration from them in everyday life too,\u201d said Dorota Cenecka. And as the gala attendees are obliged to adhere to an amber dress code, there were even more sources of inspiration!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The catwalk was dominated by highly expressive, sometimes even avant-garde collections, attracting attention with their combinations of different colours, shapes, and textures, modelled on motifs from science fiction cinema and\u2026 the Gda\u0144sk Shipyard. There was no shortage of artistic references to native folklore, which \u2013 filtered through the imagination of the creators \u2013 took on a completely new, modern expression, as well as inspirations from distant cultures, which, when juxtaposed with Polish amber, became somehow closer.
