The competition is traditionally held in two age categories: juniors \u2013 goldsmiths aged up to 22 (year of birth counts), studying or starting work in the profession, and seniors \u2013 people working as goldsmiths or amber craftsmen, holding confirmed professional qualifications. The organisers \u2013 the Goldsmiths and Jewellers Trade Commission of the Pomeranian Chamber of Crafts of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Mi\u0119dzynarodowe Targi Gda\u0144skie S.A. \u2013 have prepared two competition themes for them: \u201e100th Anniversary of Poland's Independence\u201d (juniors) and \u201eGod, Honour, Homeland\u201d (seniors). <\/p>\n
Submitted works will be assessed by a Competition Committee consisting of: Jan Gogolewski \u2013 President of the Polish Craft Association; Wies\u0142aw Szajda \u2013 President of the Pomeranian Chamber of Crafts MSP; Waldemar Sawa \u2013 Elder of the Guild of Artistic Crafts; Zbigniew Strzelczyk \u2013 President of the National Chamber of Commerce of Amber; Ryszard Uli\u0144ski \u2013 President of the International Amber Association; Cezary Kania \u2013 President of the Association of Jewellery Appraisers; Anna Maciejowska \u2013 Director of the Secondary Art School in Cz\u0119stochowa; Edward Josefowski \u2013 Director of the Secondary Art School in Katowice. The jury's verdict will be announced during the 25th AMBERIF International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones in Gda\u0144sk. <\/p>\n
The aim of the competition is to showcase the professional skills of goldsmiths and young goldsmith apprentices specialising in traditional and modern goldsmithing techniques, to support vocational training in goldsmithing and encourage professional development, to create original designs made according to individual needs, and to promote jewellery and goldsmith products made using \u201eBaltic Gold\u201d.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
