Gabriela Gier\u0142owska has been involved in amber for over 40 years. She ran her own manufacturing and conservation workshop. She is an expert of the International Association of Amber Collectors (expert on amber raw material, expert on amber natural specimens, expert on semi-finished products and amber products), an expert of the Pomeranian Provincial Trade Inspection (in the field of amber products, jewelry made with amber, and material expertise of raw amber), and a court expert in the field of amber. She has been associated with the MSB from the very beginning, not only as a founding member, but also as an active activist, serving, among other things, as Secretary of the MSB Expert Commission, Secretary of the MSB Collegial Court. For one term, she was a member of the MSB Board. Currently, she is the deputy chairman of the MSB Audit Commission. Gabriella Gier\u0142owska\u2019s collection is a professional, well-documented collection of standard substances. Reliable patterns are the foundation for reliable and unambiguous identification of amber and other natural resins, as well as widely-used imitations. The collection therefore has primarily scientific value. Not without reason, this collection is used annually at the AMBERIF and AMBERMART fairs as the basis for the work of the Amber Laboratory.<\/p>\n
