The consortium, commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, is implementing a programme to promote the jewellery and amber industries in foreign markets within the framework of the Operational Programme - Innovative Economy. <\/p>\n
The awarding of the prize is decided by a jury, which follows criteria such as good design promoting Polish thought, especially abroad, the company's\/designer's previous achievements, and their contribution to the broad development of the Polish jewellery industry. This year, the above conditions have been met by:
\u2013 AMBER-RING Stanis\u0142aw Ca\u0142ka \u2013 1st prize (statuette and cash prize of PLN 10,000) \u201efor an excellent combination of tradition with modern forms and materials, as well as significant creative potential; focus on developing international cooperation\u201d.;
PARAGON Dariusz Grzenkowski \u2013 2nd place (cash prize of 10,000 PLN) \u201efor cultivating traditions, gaining non-European markets, and simultaneously showcasing the beauty of Polish national wealth\u201d;
\u2013 OSTROWSKI DESIGN Jacek Ostrowski \u2013 3rd place (cash prize of PLN 5,000) \u201efor promoting the Polish brand abroad, creating new jewellery styles. Ostrowski-Design Jacek Ostrowski is noticeable on global markets as a Polish company\u201d.<\/p>\n
This division of prizes was decided by the competition jury, which comprised: Joanna Gajda \u2013 Ministry of Economy, Anita Dmowska \u2013 Head of the Amber Chamber of Commerce Office, Janusz Kowalski \u2013 Chairman of the National Goldsmithing and Jewellery Commission of the Polish Crafts Association, Stefan Duk \u2013 President of the Jewellery Industry Exhibitors Association, Daria Jankowiak (Motyle) \u2013 winner of last year's Minister of Economy Award, Pawe\u0142 Montewka \u2013 President of the Fine Arts Workshop, Krzysztof Rafa\u0142 Galimski \u2013 President of the International Trade Centre, and Anna \u015awiderska \u2013 Secretary of the jury.<\/p>\n
