\u201eTemptation\u201d (eng: temptation) is a collection of spatial and architectural garments that do not emphasise body lines and blur gender. \u201eWhen creating it, I thought about the clothes modestly, synthetically and spatially. This inspiration gave the clothes more interesting form and detail. The only decoration in this collection are the pinch-stripes,\u201d says Magdalena Arlukiewicz. Her main inspiration was the painting \u201eThe Temptation of St Anthony\u201d by Hieronymus Bosch, although the final shape was also influenced by the works of other Dutch painters from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries: Jan van Eyck, Robert Campin, as well as drawings by Leonardo da Vinci and Pier della Francesca.
All the designs are based on the letter T, the sign of the cross, which is a symbol of sacrifice and redemption. The colours of these outfits are also symbolic: red (hell), blue (Satan) and black (humility). The \u201eTemptation\u201d collection was created over six months. It had its premiere at the AMBER LOOK Fashion and Amber Gala. <\/p>\n
\u201eIt is not easy to live up to Magda's inspiration and expectations. This collection of hers, more than any of her previous collections, has forced me to change my approach to jewellery, to re-evaluate its function,\u201d - says Aleksander Gliwinski.
