For the first time this year, seniors could submit entries in two categories: made exclusively by hand and those using computer-aided design. The competition entries \u2013 jewellery and decorative items with a jewellery function, made using various goldsmithing techniques and employing precious and decorative stones and metals \u2013 were assessed by a competition jury comprising: Karol Kowalski \u2013 chairperson, OKZ-J ZRP; Dorota Z\u0105bkowska \u2013 Ministry of Culture and National Heritage; Wanda Gontarska \u2013 director of the Z\u0142oto Srebro Czas fair; Marek Winiarek \u2013 Guild of Goldsmiths, Watchmakers, Opticians, Engravers and Bronze Workers of the capital city of Warsaw, Waldemar Wro\u0144ski \u2013 master goldsmith (Gdynia), Jerzy Adamek \u2013 master goldsmith, Jerzy Macur \u2013 master goldsmith, and Jolanta Kosakowska \u2013 ZRP. <\/p>\n<p> The committee awarded the following prizes: <\/p>\n<p> <strong>Category Seniors, topic: TWO WORLDS<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> 1st place: Katarzyna Klimas <\/strong>to work <em>Contrast<\/em><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/amber.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/1533_5-9f8.jpg\" alt=\"1533_5\" class=\"wp-image-15471\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd place: Agnieszka Puchacz <\/strong>to work <em>Underwater love \u2013 horror vacui<\/em><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/amber.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/1533_4-a2e.jpg\" alt=\"1533_4\" class=\"wp-image-15472\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>3rd place: Dariusz Grzenkowski<\/strong> for work <em>Nostromo bracelet<\/em><br \/><strong><br \/>Category: Juniors, Topic: THE SEVEN COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> 1st place <\/strong>not awarded<br \/><strong>2nd place: Natalia Lipi\u0144ska <\/strong>for work <em>Blooming alliance<\/em><br \/><strong>2nd place: Patryk Drzewudzki <\/strong>for work <em>Fair weather cumulus<\/em><br \/><strong>Third place: Pawe\u0142 Osowski <\/strong>for work <em>Feelings are important<br \/><\/em><strong><br \/>Category Seniors, theme TWO WORLDS \u2013 works created using computer techniques<\/strong><strong><\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1st place: Grzegorz OLE\u015aKIEWICZ <\/strong>Diamond Kiss<\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><br \/>Traditionally, the ceremonial announcement of the results and the awarding of prizes in the Gold and Silver in Craftsmanship competition took place during the Gold Silver Time trade fair in Warsaw.<\/p>\n<p><em>Photographs: Prize-winning works by Katarzyna Klimas (top) and Agnieszka Puchacz (bottom). <\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results of this year's National Gold and Silver in Craftsmanship Competition are... surprising.
