This year marks 20 years of your artistic work. How do you assess this time? 
<\/strong><\/p>\n

It passed quickly (laughs). I judge these two decades as a period of permanent creative evolution, which, fortunately, passed without revolution. <\/p>\n

Key experiences, milestones?
<\/strong>
Creating jewellery is one big adventure, every year brings a new collection - more or less groundbreaking. But the most important turning point, which had a decisive impact on my professional career, was the introduction of a collection of segmented jewellery at the end of the 1990s. Segmented, that is, created from pieces of amber cut into various geometric forms and juxtaposed with each other. This idea can be continued and developed indefinitely, creating all sorts of combinations - which is perhaps why, over the years, it has become a kind of leitmotif for my collections and a hallmark of my company. The jewellery I design is modern and expressive, although quite economical in form. The style of my collections manifests itself in a play with both the geometry of solids and their asymmetrical juxtaposition.<\/p>\n

Is it in this style that you see your place in the jewellery world? <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Not really... I am a restless soul who is constantly running somewhere and looking for further inspiration. Reaching such a \u201eset place\u201d could become the first step towards being \u201epigeonholed\u201d. And this is what every artist fears. There is certainly a leitmotiv that runs through my collections and sets me apart in this market, but it also evolves, goes through different phases and is reflected in different jewellery forms. When one's profession is also one's greatest passion, the desire to rest on one's laurels is not so tempting (laughs). So I'm constantly looking for interesting inspirations.

Which inspirations are the most valuable?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

What I enjoy most is designing jewellery for fashion shows. It's an opportunity to experiment, a time of crazy creativity, unrestricted by the demands of the market. At the same time, it's a test for me as a designer... A big opportunity, but also a test for my own imagination and possibilities. I love such challenges and the adrenaline that accompanies them: either there will be a spectacular success or... a spectacular flop (laughs). Such \u201ecrazy\u201d collections, even if they are meant to be one-offs, are sometimes the starting point for less crazy and more everyday collections - I take over certain motifs, which I use as inspiration for further designs and their variations.  <\/p>\n

And finally, the traditional question about future plans.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

I try not to plan. I agree with the saying: \u201eman makes plans and the Lord God laughs\u201d. I enjoy what another day brings. Especially since we have come to live in such a crazy world, where 20 years go by like one day....<\/p>\n
