It was then that Wilhelm Tasso Mattar first participated in the Amberif Design Award competition, a year later he won the Grand Prix, and two years later he was a judge. Since then, this fossilised resin has been constantly present in his works. What's more: out of love for amber, he undertook organising amber workshops in his studio in the town of Arta in Mallorca. When asked about the reasons, he replied: \u201eI am convinced that many people are as delighted with this material as I am.
