The route of the Amber Road and some of the archaeological finds discovered along it are also presented. The oldest objects in the collection are fragments of ornaments from the late Palaeolithic period (12,000 \u2013 11,000 BCE) and anthropomorphic amulets associated with fertility cults and zoomorphic amulets associated with hunting and forest magic from the Mesolithic period (8,000 \u2013 4,500 BCE).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the exhibitions, entitled \u201eWith amber through the millennia\u201d, presents amber in nature and its role in culture.
